The SLP Model H platform lift by Stepless is a floor-integrated accessibility solution designed to overcome level changes involving stairs without altering the existing structure. Installed directly into the floor in front of a staircase, the platform remains almost invisible when not in use, preserving the appearance of the surrounding space.
What makes the SLP Model H unique is its combined vertical and horizontal movement, allowing the platform to lift and move across the staircase without requiring modifications to the stairs or adjacent areas. This makes it particularly suitable for heritage buildings and architecturally sensitive environments where maintaining the original design is essential.
With an extremely low installation depth of around 250 mm, the lift can be integrated with minimal structural impact. As a bespoke solution, it can be customised to suit a wide range of environments and finishes, ensuring seamless architectural integration.
The platform includes a built-in control panel for independent operation, while automatic safety edges rise during use to prevent roll-off and lower again at the top level for smooth exit. Designed with both safety and discretion in mind, the SLP Model H provides a practical and elegant solution for delivering step-free access in spaces where aesthetics and minimal intervention are key priorities.
